Why Marda Gras Street Festival needs more than 100 volunteers on the day of the event.

The Marda Gras Street Festival takes months and hundreds of hours of planning and volunteer commitment. Our Volunteer Planning Committee meets on a regular basis beginning several months leading up to Festival. Collectively, this team donates hundreds of hours of time, expertise and commitment to make this year's event a continued success. All of our sponsors are individually invited to participate on this Committee to help us strategize behind the scenes to bring this Festival to life.

Our day of the event volunteers are just as essential an ingredient in helping us transform our streets into the magic of Marda Gras. With their support in several different areas of the Festival, these volunteers also help us ensure that we maintain a safe and clean environment.
