MARDA GRAS STREET FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER SIGNUP:

STEP ONE: Please complete this form with your contact details and both the Team and the Shift that you wish to sign up for.

STEP TWO: A confirmation will be sent to you via email, including an invitation to the BBQ kick-off and orientation party at O Restaurant on July 25th.

STEP THREE: Mark your Calendar! Sunday, August 8, 2010 is Marda Gras Street Festival. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your shift beginning to our volunteer tent at MAC'S parking lot in the Northwest corner of 20th Street and 33rd Ave S.W. (Near the entrance to the festival) For those using public transit, the number 7 bus stops on 33rd Ave.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring: Sunscreen, comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing (The festival goes on rain or shine).

WHAT WE PROVIDE: All of the volunteers will receive an invitation to BBQ kick-off and orientation on Sunday July 25th. Day of the event, early morning risers (morning volunteers( will be provided with a Hot Cup of Starbucks Coffee, a continental breakfast and cold beverages. Afternoon volunteers will be provided with lunch coupons compliments of subway and smoothies compliments of Jugo Juice. All volunteers will be provided with t-shirts upon registration.

Set up & Take down Team - this team assists with the setting up and dismantling entertainment stages, vendor tables and tents.
Sign me up as a volunteer for the 5:30am to 10:00am shift or the 4:00pm to 7:00pm shift

Eco Alley Green Team - this team rotates between assisting in the ECO Alley, taking control of the street by ensuring that garbage and recycle bins are used, greeting vendors and event participants, running errands and delivering supplies.
Sign me up as a volunteer for the 9:00am to 1:30pm shift or the 2:00pm to 6:30pm shift

Krewes (Street Marshals) - this team rotates between directing traffic during the move-in/move-out, monitoring blockades, assisting with safety issues, greeting vendors and event participants, running errands and delivering supplies.
Sign me up as a volunteer for the 6:00am to 10:30am shift 10:00am to 3:00pm shift or the 2:30pm to 6:30pm shift

Volunteer Concierge - this team assists with all volunteer issues, including registration, food and beverages, running errands, and volunteer tent supplies.

Fashion Fairway - this team assists with the Fashion Fairway, including greeting and seating visitors, running errands and delivering supplies.

Recreation Area - this team assists with the Recreational Area, including setting up and taking down, running errands and delivering supplies.
